Terrence Howard marries in secret

Terrence Howard secretly got married in January.

The 41-year-old actor got quietly hitched to commercial production worker Michelle Ghent-Howard, 33, at a small wedding ceremony in Los Angeles at the start of the year, but has only just revealed his union during an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

Terrence - who is in France promoting new film 'Winnie' which co-stars Jennifer Hudson - told a CNN news reporter: "To come here and be with my wife, it's the best feeling in the world."

The Hollywood star - who was previously married to Lori McCommas for 14 years and has three children with her - feels very blessed to have found the right woman in Michelle.

An insider told UsMagazine.com: "Terrence is so in love with her and she's a great, down-to-earth girl who really understands and loves him for him. He feels so lucky."

Things seem to be getting better and better for the newlywed actor as he is also in talks to play late music legend Marvin Gaye in an upcoming biopic directed by Cameron Crowe.

Discussions started after Will Smith turned down the role.

Terrence said: "Nothing's been signed on paper yet. Everybody who loves music will hate me if I get this one wrong!"
