Julia Louis-Dreyfus Star was turned into a "Luis" and de-hyphenated for the Hollywood Walk of Fame unveiling of the star.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus has an illustrious smallscreen career and was finally recognized for her lifetime achievements by Hollywood, but there was a small problem.
Her name was misspelled.
CNN's senior producer David Daniel pointed out the mistake to the workmen installing the star. The name was printed: "Julia Luis Dreyfus".
He told the workmen that the name was missing an "O" and a "hyphen". The workmen reportedly looked baffled, especially that the dedication ceremony for Julia Louis-Dreyfus was less than four hours away.
Dreyfus is the first of the Seinfeld cast to get the honor.
She was reportedly a good sport about the mistake and the star was given a temporary fix until after the ceremony was done.
Julie Louis-Dreyfus' CBS' comedy "The New Adventures of Old Christine" is still going on the network.
