Gwyneth Paltrow's nanny need
Apr 27, 2010, 12:01 GMT
Gwyneth Paltrow couldn't cope without a nanny.
The 37-year-old actress - who has children Apple, five, and Moses, four, with her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin - admits she would never have been able to return to work if she hadn't hired someone to help with her brood.
She said: "I have a nanny and she's just like part of our family. She's lovely and a life saver and I couldn't work without her.
"I couldn't be here without her because she loves my children and they love her."
However, the 'Iron Man 2' star admits she struggles being away from her family and often broke down in tears while shooting the superhero sequel because the strain was so hard.
She added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: "Some days you think, 'Oh my God, they're in the bath right now and I'm not there'.
"And I would cry in my trailer. It was very important for me because I realised it's OK for me to want to express this part of myself and it's why I'm here, you know?
"They mean everything to me and they are so beautiful and hilarious and I don't want to miss it. And I also want them to know that I'm there for them."
