Kim Kardashian beaten by ex

Kim Kardashian was allegedly beaten by her ex-husband.

In newly uncovered court papers - which were filed at Los Angeles Superior Court in 2003 - the reality TV star claimed former spouse Damon Thomas was abusive towards her throughout their three-year marriage and demanded to know where she was every minute of the day.

Talking about the abuse, Kim - who eloped to Las Vegas with Damon in 2000 when she was just 19 - said: "He became enraged and punched me in the face. My face was bruised and swollen as a result. I thought about calling the police but was afraid and decided not to do so.

"On another occasion we were at the marital residence and had an argument. He grabbed my arm and slammed me against the sliding mirror of the closet in our bedroom."

Kim claimed the record producer - who has worked with artists such as Lionel Richie and Pink - wanted her to look "perfect" so gave her $3,650 to have liposuction and another $1,000 for more surgery.

She also alleged she was forced to quit college and jobs and wasn't allowed to see her friends or family.

She added: "Damon decided what we would do and when we would do it. He was very much the 'King of the castle'."

In 2003, Damon filed for divorce and their marriage officially ended in February 2004 with Kim receiving a one-off payment of $56,000.

Kim went on to date R'n'B star Ray J and American footballer Reggie Bush, who she split from earlier this year.

She was recently linked to Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.
