Jennifer Lopez was happy with 'flabby belly'

Jennifer Lopez let her "flabby belly" hang out after she gave birth.

The singer-and-actress - who has two-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with husband Marc Anthony - remembers being so overjoyed after delivering her tots she just laid with Marc and laughed about her dishevelled appearance.

She said: "I remember my flabby belly hanging out right after I gave birth. I kind of laughed and said to Marc, 'Look, baby! Isn't this crazy?' I just didn't care."

Although she was happy to be heavy in the aftermath of the joyous birth, Jennifer admits she looks back on photos of herself now and squirms at her size.

The 40-year-old beauty told this week's edition of Us Weekly magazine: "I look back at pictures from that time, and I'm like 'Oh, god, I was fat. I was still heavy eight months out!' "

The 'Back-Up Plan' star has since shed 50 lbs and admits she was inspired to reclaim her sexy figure by her children.

She said: "You get to the point where you're like, 'Where am I? What happened to me? I got to get myself together for my kids.' They need to know what I really look like. I'm back to the size I was before I had the babies."
