Victoria Beckham happy to be unpopular

Victoria Beckham can't be bothered to make people like her.

The former Spice Girls singer-turned-fashion designer doesn't mind being criticised because she doesn't have the "ambition" to try hard to impress anyone.

She said: "I lack the ambition to try and make everyone like me."

While Victoria can take the flak that routinely comes her way, she still gets nervous before she shows off her new fashion creations.

She told Germany's Vogue magazine: "With my fashion label I made a dream come true for myself. It's almost like a child for me. Although this is already my fourth season I'm always incredibly scared before and during my shows."

The 36-year-old star also laughed off claims she is unfriendly, insisting she is outgoing and loves speaking to new people, much to the delight of her soccer star husband David.

Victoria - who has sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and five-year-old Cruz with David - said: "I really like to talk a lot and I'm always happy when I find someone who is interested in what I have to say. David is rather quiet and reserved and I guess he's always quite relieved that I get to chat a lot with other people during the day."
