Alex Reid loves reading about himself.

The cage fighter - who is married to glamour model Katie Price - admits he can't resist searching for himself on the internet to find out if people like him or not.

He said: "It's so surreal - I still can't believe this is my new lifestyle! I have been looking online to see what the general consensus on me is.

"I have had some really nice responses and some not so positive. I hate it most when people say I am fake. I'm not - I talk from the heart. And I'm not controlled by the missus, either - I always say what I want to say!"

One person who is not a fan of Alex and Katie is comedian Michael McIntyre - but despite the comic's jibes at their expense, Alex insists he would like them to be friends.

He explained: "At Channel 4's Comedy Gala the other week, Michael McIntyre was very cheeky! We spoke to him before going on stage and he seemed lovely, but then he was rude about me on stage.

"I tried to grab him on stage and he s**t himself! And after he came off stage, I chased him downstairs.

"But it's all good between us. He can even come round to ours for tea - although I might set the dogs on him."
