Avril Lavigne's lightning love

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner have reportedly had matching lighting bolt tattoos.

The 'Girlfriend' singer and her rumoured reality TV star boyfriend are said to have had the pieces of body art etched onto their bodies to show their love for one another.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "They showed up to the opening of Mario Barth King Ink and requested the same tats.

"They were really excited about it. They held hands openly and were kissing in a corner. Brody didn't leave Avril's side all night."

Avril had her tattoo on her forearm, whereas Brody reportedly opted for his to be behind his ear

Brody - who has appeared in 'The Princes of Malibu', 'Bromance' and 'The Hills' - is so serious about the 25-year-old pop star he has even introduced her to his parents.

Another source said: "He introduced Avril to his mother last weekend. He's really head over heels for her and wanted to let her know how serious he was, so he took her to his mom Linda's home. It went really well."

Avril - who filed for divorce from her husband, Sum 41 musician Deryck Whibley, last October - reportedly started dating Brody, 26 in February.

A source added: "Avril and Deryck are just friends now. He thinks Brody is a good guy and that it's great the two of them are doing well."
