Cheryl Cole won't duet with Nadine

Mar 23, 2010, 17:32 GMT

Cheryl Cole has snubbed Nadine Coyle's plan to duet together.

The Girls Aloud singer insists she won't ever work with just one of her bandmates because it would be too "weird" - just days after Nadine revealed she had written a song for them to record.

Discussing the possibility of duetting with one of the Girls Aloud singers, Cheryl said: "Nah, I don't think so. I think that's a bit weird. I think we'd either have to all do it together, or separately. One with one would be weird."

This news comes shortly after Nadine took to twitter to dispel rumours the pair had fallen out.

She tweeted: "I'm hearing stupid talk about Cheryl and I having a fall out. Def NOT the case. I've written a song I'd love for us to duet on. Stay tuned. (sic)"

Although she's ruled out releasing a single as a twosome, Cheryl does want to work with her bandmate Nicola Roberts on a re-shoot of the video for Lady Gaga and Beyonce Knowles' new single 'Telephone'.

She said: "With the new Lady Gaga and Beyonce video 'Telephone', I have made a pact with Nicola that she can be Gaga and I can be Beyonce and we will recreate the video. I had goosebumps the first time I watched it."

Cheryl also confirmed the girl group - also consisting of Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh - are contracted to record a further three albums together, but don't have any plans to start recording new material in the immediate future.

She added to BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton: "We did sign a three-album record deal, but the last time we did anything was in when we supported Coldplay at Wembley which was only September. So we haven't really spoken about anything yet."
