Jennifer Love Hewitt has marked the end of her relationship by cutting off her hair.

The 'Ghost Whisperer' star - who announced her break-up from long-term boyfriend Jamie Kennedy earlier this month - opted for the popular heartbreak cure and was spotted showing off her wavy bob in Los Angeles over the weekend.

A source said: "It seems Jennifer is like many other women and wants to move on with her life by getting a new hairdo. Gone are the long tumbling locks which have now been replaced by a more sophisticated style."

Although she is moving on with a change in her appearance, Jennifer recently revealed she hates being single as she loves being part of a couple.

Jennifer, who has written a self-help book on relationships 'The Day I Shot Cupid', said: "Back in the shark tank! I never said in the book that I knew how to be in the perfect relationship. I say in my book I want to be the readers' kind spirit out in the dating world. And now, more than ever, I am. I don't like to go out to clubs and party. I'm not into, 'Let's go out with one guy on a Monday and another guy on a Wednesday,' that's just not me. I'm a relationship kind of girl. I like a twosome. Some people get excited about being single. I don't."

Jennifer, 31, insisted her break-up from Jamie was amicable and they remained friends.
