Actor Corey Haim has been found dead at his home in Burbank, CA., reports FOX Business News from earlier morning FOX news reports.
Corey Feldman (L) and Corey Haim (R) from A&E, The Two Coreys reality TV series
The actor was 38.
According to FOX, the LAPD is claiming the death was most likely caused by an accidental drug overdose, and an investigation is underway. Coroner Lt. Cheryl MacWillie told reporters that Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. An autopsy to determine the cause of death is pending.
Haim was a successful child actor who forged a collaborative career at times with Corey Feldman, the two appearing in the eighties classic film, "The Lost Boys."
Haim and Feldman starred in several popular films together, including "License To Drive" and "Dream a Little Dream."
After overcoming his drug addiction, Corey Feldman tried hard to re-establish his career, appearing in such productions as Bordello of Blood and Dweebs. In 1993, he divorced his first wife, Vanessa Marcil. In 2007, Feldman and Haim were reunited on the A&E reality show "The Two Coreys." Haim's drug use became so bad that it ended his quasi-comeback on "The Two Coreys" along with Corey Feldman. Feldman ended his involvement by the third season because of Haim's reported drug use.
