Mel Gibson plans naked Oscars

Mel Gibson plans to watch the Oscars naked.
The 'Edge of Darkness' actor, who has won two Academy Awards in his career, will not be attending and instead will be hosting his own free-spirited screening.
When asked what he would be wearing to the event on Sunday night (07.03.10), he told Radar Online: "I'm not wearing anything. I plan on lying in front of my TV set probably wearing my birthday suit.
"I'm not attending the Oscars. Hey, I'll be there in spirit. But I've voted. There's always next year."
The 54-year-old actor has no plans to slow down his work rate and has a number of projects in the pipeline.
He said: "I've got a couple of treats in store. Wait and see."
Mel recently revealed since he turned 50 he has been more selective about the movies he works on.
He said: "Since I've passed the big 5-0 I've chosen my projects more carefully. When you realise that half of your life has gone by you don't want to do s**t stuff anymore."
