Marie Osmond helped by Mary Hart, funeral planned in Utah

Marie Osmond has lost her son Michael Blosil; the teen leaped to his death in Los Angeles Friday night.

Following the tragic loss of her son, brother Donny Osmond asked fans to pray for his sister.  

Now Marie Osmond has been aided by her close personal friend Mary Hart, the host of 'Entertainment Tonight' reports PopEater/.

"Marie and Mary are incredibly close girlfriends," claims Rob Shuter of PopEater. "They talk all the time and even went to cheer on Donny together when he was competing in 'Dancing With The Stars.' Now Mary is being the best girlfriend anyone could possibly have during this horrid time."

Osmond is the mother of eight children, and the loss was a shock to so many of her fans and peers. Many of her fans and friends have noted Marie and Donny's constant good works in various communities, including Las Vegas, and their tight knit family bonds.

The family-only funeral for Michael will be held later this week in Utah, reports PopEater.

Michael Blosil, 18, is the adopted son of Osmond and her ex-husband Brian Blosil, Michael had a history with depression and was in rehab a few years earlier.

Marie previously had shared with People magazine that he had turned his life around and was excelling in school.
