Lindsay Lohan's British future

Lindsay Lohan is planning to move to the UK.

The 'Mean Girls' actress - who has an on/off relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson - wants to start a new life in Europe, after having so much fun during a recent trip to London.

She tweeted: "Moving to the UK is in my near future* better djs/music and Paris is just a Chunnel away! (sic)"

While Lindsay is making plans for the immediate future, the 23-year-old star admits she has no idea how her life will turn out.

She told America's OK! magazine: "Where do I see myself in five years? Having my own charity, doing a film that's nominated. I don't know. I can't decide what's going to happen.

"I don't want to know, actually. That's the nice thing about life. It's a bit mysterious."

In December, Lindsay travelled to India to film a BBC documentary looking at human trafficking and says the experience changed her perspective on life.

She said: "It was really heartbreaking. It was extremely intense, and very eye-opening as to what people focus on, which is who's dating who, and the things that aren't necessarily the most important in the world at the end of the day."

Continuing with her charity work, Lindsay recently hosted a benefit night in aid of earthquake-stricken Haiti, which she thinks was the next best thing to visiting the Caribbean nation.

She said: "I wanted to go to Haiti, but it was too dangerous to go at the time because there were still earthquakes going on.

"We decided to host a fundraiser. I'm trying to do as much as I can to help people that are in need of it rather than being self-indulgent, which is what people tend to do in this industry."
