John Mayer loved Jessica drug

John Mayer says having sex with Jessica Simpson was like "a drug".

The 32-year-old singer - who dated the blonde star for nine months until May 2007 - admits their bedroom antics were the biggest attraction in their relationship and claimed he would even pay to sleep with the 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress because he enjoyed it so much.

He said: "She was a drug. And drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.

"Sexually it was crazy. That's all I'll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, 'I want to quit my life and just f***ing snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to f**k you, I would start selling all my s**t just to keep f***ing you.' "

John also spoke about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston, claiming rumours they split up last year because of his obsession with micro-blogging website twitter were not true - but acknowledged their differing views of technology were a contributing factor.

He explained to Playboy magazine: "There was a rumour that I'd been dumped because I was tweeting too much. That wasn't it, but that was a big difference. The brunt of her success came before TMZ and twitter. I think she's still hoping it goes back to 1998. She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction. And I always said, 'These are the new rules.' "

Although John has had a series of high-profile relationships, he says he is now wary of getting romantically involved with anyone else because he hates dumping people.

He explained: "I hate being the heartbreaker. Hate it. If I date somebody and it doesn't work out, it's another nightmare for me."

However, the star claims he is not as successful with women as he used to be.

When asked how many people he had slept with since splitting from Jennifer, he said: "I'm going to say four or five. No more. But even if I said 12, that's a reasonable number. So is 15. Here's the thing - I get less a*s now than I did when I was in a local band. Because now I don't like jumping through hoops."
