Perfect boyfriend Johnny Depp

Vanessa Paradis says she and Johnny Depp are like "one person".

The singer-and-actress insists there is nothing about the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star - who she has been in a relationship with for 12 years - she would like to change.

She said: "We are many things - we are together and, in a way, one person. I love him, and I don't have to say, 'I like this,' and, 'I don't like that.'

"When you love somebody, you take them as they are. I would not change him."

Vanessa also likes the 46-year-old star's style, which tends to incorporate vaudevillian influence with more contemporary looks such as facial hair, leather jackets and long, slicked back hair.

Vanessa, 37, added: "I love his style, yeah, yeah, yeah. I like him very much in all terms and every sense of the way."

She also revealed the couple's children, Jack, seven, and daughter Lily-Rose, ten, enjoy dressing up like their parents.

Lily-Rose especially likes lipstick - which Johnny has previously worn with her as a joke.

Vanessa added to People magazine: "All little girls love to play with lipstick, so we let her play with it. I was a very little girl when I tried it, and it's always been a fun thing to do. It's nothing serious.

"Her father may try some on with her to have fun with it.

"At her age it's just to play and also it's very theatrical. So we let her wear some and have fun."
