Katie Price wants Pete to be pal

Katie Price wants to be friends with Peter Andre.

The glamour model wants to have her ex-husband - who is the father of her two children Junior and Princess - round for dinner in a bid to make peace with him.

Katie - who married cage-fighter Alex Reid in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas last week - said in an interview on UK station Radio One: "I would love to speak to him. I'd love him to come round but it's hard with the people around him. If Pete's listening, which he's probably not, I would love to have him round and cook a barbie."

The 31-year-old brunette star also claimed she is off the party scene now she is a married woman again.

She said: "You won't see me out on the town for a very long time. It doesn't interest me.

Discussing her new husband, she added: "We just got married. We're so happy. I've grown up and learnt a lot from my mistakes - and now I'm a Reidy. I want to be Reidinated."

Earlier today (09.01.10), Katie revealed she couldn't wait to have a baby with Alex.

She said: "It's no secret 2009 was a bad year for me and I'm really looking forward to 2010. I think it's going to be brilliant and I can't wait to get pregnant."
