JLS' safe sex concerns
Feb 2, 2010, 13:04 GMT
JLS get sent condoms by their mothers.
The 'Everybody In Love' hitmakers insist they always practice safe sex and never run out of contraception, thanks to their parents.
Band member Aston Merrygold said: "It's all about staying safe. We all think so.
"My mum sends me down a stash and I dish them out to the lads so none of us have to worry."
The group - made up of Aston, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Ortise Williams - are so concerned a girl will deliberately get pregnant by one of them, they refuse to accept condoms from anyone else.
Aston explained: "Some girls have condoms but we would never take them because you never know what may have been done to them. We don't want to be trapped."
The 'Beat Again' stars are so keen to promote safe sex, they even want to launch their own range of condoms Just Love Safe.
Aston told The Sun newspaper: "I'd be really up for doing some kind of campaign about safe sex."
Meanwhile, Aston has revealed his bandmate Marvin is obsessed with 'chick-flicks'.
He said: "The other night I knocked on Marvin's door, I went in and there he was on his bed watching 'Pretty Woman' with a large tub of popcorn."
