Singer Lady GaGa is pooped and sick - Splash News
Lady Gaga "cried for hours" after being warned she would risk her life if she performed a concert.
The 'Poker Face' singer, who is currently on the US leg of her international Monster Ball tour, cancelled a show in Indiana yesterday (14.01.10) at the last minute after needing medical treatment for exhaustion and dehydration.
The 23-year-old star wrote on twitter: "I've been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down 2nite. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing.(sic)
"Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular - a result of exhaustion and dehydration.
"can't apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go on stage. My stage has complicated mechanical elements, everyone was concerned I'd be in danger during the 2hr show, since I had passed out earlier. (sic)
"I am so devastated. I have performed with the flu, a cold, strep throat: I would never cancel a show just based on discomfort."
She then went on to confirm that the show would be re-scheduled for January 26 and appealed for her fans' understanding.
She added: "I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything."
Commenting on the events, gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who is a friend of the star's said on twitter: "People don't realise how hard you work and how it's pretty much non-stop and has been for two years!"
