Celebrities are donating large sums of money for Haitiian relief.

Ted Turner, The New York Yankees, Ben Stiller, Wyclef Jean, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie all have given substantially to the fundraising efforts that will enable the key relief organizations to help Haitians devastated by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck on January 12.

For anyone out there who want to help, the good egg list:

American Red Cross has a full-time staff on the ground in Haiti, and are seeking additional donations to continue providing food, water, temporary shelter, medical services and emotional support.

UNICEF is deploying "essential aid" — safe water, sanitation supplies, therapeutic foods, temporary shelter materials and medical supplies — to assist in recovery efforts.

YELE_HAITI is Wyclef Jean's own charitable organization, and has established an online donation site to help victims of the earthquake. Through his Twitter account, he's also asking his fans to lend a hand, by making a $5 donation by texting YELE to 501 501.

Direct_Relief_International is a U.S.-based organization that has committed up to $1 million to aid emergency response efforts. Already, they have sent two 40-by-20-foot containers packed with more than $420,000 of medicine, supplies and food to St. Damien Children's Hospital in Port-au-Prince.

World_Vision has worked in Haiti for 30 years, and is seeking donations to provide victims with food, water, blankets and tents.

Operation_USA  is sending medical aid, water-purification supplies and food supplements to the nation.

Convoy_of_Hope has a command center just outside of Port-au-Prince, and is distributing food, water and supplies to the victims of the earthquake.

Samaritan's_Purse is a Christian organization that, for over 35 years, has provided assistance to victims of natural disaster, war, disease and famine. In Haiti, they are helping survivors with food, water and temporary shelter.

The State Department has set up a toll-free number to call for information about family members in Haiti:  888-407-4747

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's foundation is reportedly contributing $1 million to the emergency medical operation.

"It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades," says Jolie.

Adds Pitt: "We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care."

On Larry King's CNN show January 13, Ted Turner also pledged $1 million and called on wealthy Americans to donate, and King announced that the New York Yankees will send $500,000 towards relief efforts.
