Nicolas Cage’s financial woes have increased by one more lawsuit, reports People magazine.
Cage's latest suit against him is for $36.7 million, slapped on him by Red Curb Investments, who allege that Cage failed to repay over $5 million in loans and neglected to disclose his $6 million debt and tax problems.
“[Our client] was assured that Cage had substantial assets consisting of high-end residential property, yachts, airplanes, antiques, custom automobiles, jewelry, furs … to assure repayment of the [loan],” the company claimed in the suit, according to People. “...the values of Cage’s assets were grossly exaggerated.”
Cage's legal team refute the charges and deny that the actor was in the wrong.
Currently Cage is suing and being counter-sued by his former business manager Samuel Levin over his recent financial issues, and fending off a recent $13 million lawsuit from ex Christina Fulton.
