For awhile, it seemed British singer Amy Winehouse had staved off her demons, after an extended stay in St. Lucia, to return home to London.

But not for long. Reports came quickly that Winehouse had enhanced her bust with implants, which were then revealed in published photos with Amy in clothing that barely covered her nipples, if that. Frequently.

Amy has also kept in close proximity to her ex, Blake Fielder-Civil, and he has told a London newspaper that he and Amy are engaged to be married, again.  Their first union ended in July.

Amy's parents have worried publicly, writing open letters and trying to use the courts to keep Blake from Amy's coffers, but the two troubled alleged drug-addicts seem to be circling each other once again, using the very public forum of Twitter to express their love-sotted feelings.

Amy's Father Mitch Winehouse has been the most blunt, laying blame on Blake for indoctrinating his daughter into the world of drug use.

Now Amy Winehouse has been charged in connection with an assault on Saturday night at a theater in Milton Keynes, the British press reports.

Amy reportedly voluntarily attended a police station in the Buckinghamshire town with her lawyer on Wednesday afternoon, police said in a statement.

Winehouse, 26, was charged under her married name "Amy Civil," with a public order offence and common assault.

Amy is now scheduled to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court on January 20, 2010, according to several British newspapers.
