Cheryl Cole spends Christmas morning without her husband - because he has to work.
The 'Fight For This Love' singer is married to Chelsea soccer star Ashley Cole and he leaves her for a few hours because he has to train on Christmas Day (25.12.09) for his match on Boxing Day (26.12.09).
The Girls Aloud star said: "He spends Christmas on the training ground. It's not very romantic. He opens his presents and then goes off to his training happy."
The 26-year-old singer is planning a traditional Christmas with Ashley and her family and is looking forward to well-earned festive break after launching her solo career and judging UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' in 2009.
She said: "I just want to spend Christmas with my family and my dogs. Then maybe go somewhere sunny."
