Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams said it 'would be fun' to have a musical episode of the show at the end of its run.
The 46-year-old plays magazine editor Wilhemina Slater in the hit US show and denied that the new boxset includes a musical episode.
She said: 'Sadly not. We were originally going to do a musical episode in season two, which was going to mark Wilhemina's return to Mode.
'It was going to be full of big musical numbers, but a lot of changes happened during the writers' strike - and that was one of the things that went.'
Asked if there are any plans in the future, she said: 'Who knows? Perhaps there could be a musical at the end of the whole run? That would be fun.
'The great thing is, we all sing, dance and act - and we would all love to do it.'
