Dec 9, 2009, 9:38 GMT
Bruce Springsteen's cousin died from an accidental drug overdose.
Lenny Sullivan, who was the 'Working On A Dream singer's' assistant road manager, died in October and his autopsy results released this week showed he passed away of "acute amphetamine and heroin intoxication".
His death was ruled as an "accidental overdose".
Lenny's body was found on October 26 at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Kansas, shortly before Bruce was to take to the stage at the city's Spirit Centre, forcing him to cancel that night's concert.
A statement on the singer's website posted soon after read: "Lenny Sullivan, Bruce's cousin and the assistant road manager of the E Street Band for the last 10 years, passed away today at the age of 36.
"A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family."
Meanwhile, Bruce - known by the nickname 'The Boss' - was presented with a Kennedy Center award by President Barack Obama at a White House reception on Sunday (06.12.09).
As he handed over the accolade, Obama quipped: "I'm the president but he's 'The Boos'."
