Washington - An unidentified woman was taken from the home of US golfer Tiger Woods to a hospital by ambulance early Tuesday, US media reports said.
The woman was described in various reports as blonde and middle-aged, with witnesses quoted by Orlando-based broadcaster WFTV saying she resembled Wood's wife Elin Nordegren
Broadcaster Fox News reported that emergency services had received a call for help from Wood's mansion in Isleworth, Florida.
Orlando-based broadcaster WFTV reported that the woman was seen being carried on a stretcher from an ambulance at the Health Central Hospital.
Woods has been the focus of tabloid inquiry since he crashed his car outside his house in the early hours of November 27 amid allegations of a massive fight between him and his wife.
A statement later issued by the star golfer, in which he apologized for undisclosed 'transgressions' and letting his family down, has fueled speculation of marital infidelity.
The New York Post reported Monday that the number of mistresses linked to the 33-year-old golf champ is as high as nine, including various waitresses, nightclub hostesses and a porn star.
