If you cover anything entertainment of celebrity on Los Angeles or New York, you run into a lot of stars at different parties, premieres and network shindigs.

Some are genuinely nice, some not so much.
David Hasselhoff was always warm, kind, loquacious and charming to me anywhere I saw him, whether it be a M.A.C. cosmetics event in Beverly Hills or at an NBC press day promoting their seasonal lineup.
A goofy and kind guy, with lots of problems for sure, but always gracious and funny to complete strangers and those of us in the media. He remembered faces, and always went out of his way to say hello.
Now it seems David's ongoing battle with alcohol is getting the better of him, as he was reported over the weekend to suffer a blackout and seizure in his Encino home, and was then rushed to the hospital.
The former "Baywatch" star was taken to Cedars-Sinai medical center after daughter Hayley called 911, according to radaronline.com.
"Paramedics were called to the (address omitted) in Encino for medical aid," Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said. "Paramedics arrived at approximately 11:51 a.m. and later transported the patient a nearby hospital."
Hasselhoff was hospitalized in late September from acute alcohol poisoning after taping a season as a judge on "America's Got Talent." In November he seemed off and inebriated presenting an award at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The actor has always had a healthy self-deprecating sense of humor about himself, and M&C hopes for Christmas that he recovers from this set back, and enjoys a healthy and happy holidays with his children.
