US Golfer Tiger Woods is reported in "serious condition" by FOX news, reporting from the Orlando Sentinel sources that Woods was involved in a car accident in his home community of Isleworth, early this morning. EPA/JULIAN SMITH
UPDATE: US Golfer Tiger Woods has been released from the hospital with facial lacerations according to FOX news.
The Orlando Sentinel first reported that Woods was involved in a car accident in his home community of Isleworth, early this morning.
The Orlando Sentinel and the Florida Highway Patrol that "charges are pending" after Woods, 33, pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community about 2:25 a.m. hitting a fire hydrant, then a neighbor's tree at his neighbor's property.
Woods was initially described as "seriously injured" and "facing charges" per the Sentinel, according to FOX news.
He was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee and later released.
Woods' Cadillac Escalade's airbags did not deploy according to the FOX news report.
