Now the very pricey retailer Kitson, a trendy LA upmarket store, had to fight off a grabby Lohan who Pop Tarts claims gathered up $15,000. worth of retail merchandise, after she connived a $500 comped gratis allowance "appearance fee" to $2000 maximum, after a public row over her snatching up $15,000 worth of duds and accessories was denied.
Lohan, according to Pop Tarts, appeared at the store for Thursday’s launch of Jermaine Dupri’s new watch line in collaboration with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad at Kitson in West Hollywood.
Mouawad offered the actress $500 to spend at Kitson, which Pop Tarts (in attendance at the event) claims she "bargained up to $1000."
From FOX's Pop Tarts:
"Lohan went crazy in the store pulling out drawers and insisting she wanted this and that, eventually racking up a hefty $15,000 bill. But when told she had exceeded her limit quite significantly, Lohan responded that 'Pascal would take care of it because I’m the only celebrity here.' "
Eventually Pascal caved after Lohan had a cow at the register with her mountain of goods, and Tarts claims that he gave her $2000 to spend to appease her.
Overheard was a not appeased Lohan trying to negotiate the rest of her thousands of dollars worth of stuff to the staffers, who were allegedly told she would return to walk out with the bags visible so the store would benefit from her celebrity.
Allegedly the staff was told Lohan would "be back" to claim the rest of the over $13,000 worth of merchandise for free, after the owner of the store was contacted.
