EPA/MIRAFLORES President Hugo Chavez told reporters he met with actor Sean Penn on Wednesday, and that the Oscar-winner is thinking of filming in his country.Chavez is a celebrity magnet and has entertained the company of Benicio del Toro, Courtney Love, Danny Glover, Naomi Campbell, Penn and Michael Moore.The Associated Press reveals that Oscar-winning actor Penn is contemplating a film based on a novel by Cuban writer Alejo Carpentier.The locale of this story about an anthropologist and a composer is centered in Venezuela's southern Orinoco river.Chavez told reporters he passed along a message for President Obama to Penn for delivery. Chavez reportedly wants Obama to "scrap a plan" for increased military presence in his country."They gave him the Nobel Prize, very well, now he should earn it," said Chavez, according to AP reports.Penn reportedly met with ailing 82 year-old Cuban leader Fidel Castro, then made his way to Venezuela. Previously he had interviewed Fidel's younger brother Raul Castro.
