The 'American Woman' star was enjoying the alcoholic spirit during his performance at New York's Irving Plaza venue on Monday (12.10.09) and offered to share the drink with concertgoers at the end of the evening.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "They kept yelling at him in between songs to share the booze. Finally, at the end of the show, he gave in and offered the bottle to a group of fans in the front row. They were literally fighting over who got to take his last shot of vodka."
The rocker was performing the first date of his five-night residency at the venue and despite reaching the age of 45, Lenny insists he still has no problems with baring his body when he is in public.
He said: "My shirt will come off sometimes on stage.
"Or if I'm in the Bahamas. I don't wear many clothes at all. I'll take two jeans and five T-shirts down there. If I'm hanging out on the beach, I could wear nothing."
