"I am putting together a great show and cannot wait to perform the songs from my new album 'I Look to You' along with some of your favourites."
The 46-year-old star will also make a TV appearance on talent show 'The X Factor' this Sunday (18.10.09) - her first UK TV appearance in 12 years.
Whitney - who has sold over 140 million albums worldwide - is making her long-awaited musical comeback after overcoming drug addiction.
Whitney's UK tour will start in Manchester on April 8 before moving to Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle and London.
The rest of her European dates will also see her perform in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium.
