'Dear Friends, I would like to let you know before it gets in the papers that I am going into the hospital to have a procedure on my heart,' the 77-year-old star blogged. 'It's very new and involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device, without open heart surgery, so that my heart will function better. Any prayers you happen to have lying around I would dearly appreciate. I'll let you know when it's all over. Love you, Elizabeth.'

Mel Gibson has drunken driving charge expunged
Los Angeles (dpa) - Mel Gibson has a clean driving record again. The Oscar-winning actor and director of Braveheart fulfilled all his court obligations stemming from his 2006 arrest and a judge on Tuesday expunged the drunken driving conviction from his record.
The incident itself however won't be so easily forgotten. Gibson was arrested while driving about 140 kilometres per hour while holding an open bottle of tequila.
The director of The Passion of the Christ then proceeded to launch an anti-Semitic rant at his arresting officer, reportedly saying things like 'Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.' Though he issued an apology, he was widely criticized by Jewish groups who maintained the apology did not go far enough.
Chris Rock sued over new movie
Los Angeles (dpa) - Funnyman Chris Rock is being sued over his new documentary movie about hairstyles in the black community, Access Hollywood reported Tuesday.
Filmmaker Regina Kimbell has filed a 5-million-dollar suit against Rock, claiming that his movie, Good Hair copies extensive segments from her movie, which she screened for the actor two years ago, the report said.
In her lawsuit, Kimbell claims there are over a dozen similarities between her film My Nappy Roots: A Journey Through Black Hair-itage and Rock's movie and that Doug Miller, now an executive producer of Good Hair, requested a screening of her movie over two years ago. Following the alleged screening, Miller said she learned Rock was working on a film about black hair and she felt 'stunned and violated.' She also claims following the screening, Miller 'refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement.'
