Nicolas Cage has sold one of his homes to help renovate his castle.

The 'National Treasure' actor received a reported £4 million for the six-bedroom property in Bath, South West England, after deciding to put it on the market because he didn't spend enough time there.
He is now putting all the money into nearby Midford Castle, which he bought in 2007 for around £5 million.
The castle has been empty for two years and Cage is focused on completely renovating the historic property - built in 1775 - as he wants to make it his main UK home.
The 45-year-old star has submitted planning permission to Bath and North Somerset Council, saying the castle was in a poor condition and in need of repair to return it to its former "grandeur".

In May, Cage - who is married to former waitress Alice Kim, with who he has a three-year-old son Kal-El - sold his 11th century German castle after only spending one night there, despite spending millions and three years renovating it.
