The iconic musician and producer of musicians has weathered two life-threatening brain aneurysms which altered his musical career. In the seventies, Jones went on to produce Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall," "Thriller," and "Bad," as well as the all-star "We Are the World" to help famine-struck Africa in 1985.

Mr. Jones has had a lifetime of many successes. He has composed more than 34 film scores and won more than 26 Grammys, and was nominated for an Oscar seven times.
Jones spoke to Details magazine and gave further opinion on Michael Jackson and his take on the late pop star's demons and physical evolutions:
"We talked about it all the time, but he would come up with, 'Man, I promise you I have this disease, I have a blister on my lungs.' All of that was B.S. - Michael was a Virgo - very set in his ways. You couldn't talk him out of it."
When pressed to say if he believed Michael ever had a disease, Jones was emphatic. "I don't believe any of that bullshit, no. I've been around junkies all my life. I've heard every excuse. You're just justifying something destructive to your existence. It's ridiculous man! Chemical peels. I don't understand it. He obviously didn't want to be black."
The Details interview can be found in the latest September issue, featuring Tom Brady on the cover.
