Robin Wright Penn's second act begins

Mr. and Mrs. Penn's third attempt at divorce is underway, filed this time by Robin Wright Penn.
People reports the actress filed in Marin County, Calif., on Aug. 12, and that "both parties have already agreed to [shared] custody" over their minor son, Hopper Jack, 16, and that "the estranged couple have already agreed to division of all property."
The couple are citing "irreconcilable differences" for the dissolution of their marriage.
Robin Wright Penn played Jenny in "Forrest Gump" opposite Tom Hanks. She first made a career splash in the 1987 film "The Princess Bride" with Cary Elwes.
The couple have been together since 1989 and married in 1996.
More magazine interviewed Penn who seemed resolved and happy to move forward from her "peculiar chemistry" with Sean Penn. "I hit that crossroad a while ago," she said. "I know what I don't want."
Penn added, "I, we, have two amazing children we raised together."
