Since she left, her place on the panel has been filled by former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, hip-hop artist Mary J. Blige and 'I Kissed a Girl' singer Katy Perry.Jessica Simpson had also been mentioned as a possible replacement for Paula, but her father-and-manager Joe insists she will not be appearing on the programme.Writing on his Twitter account, Joe said: "So, I am in thailand... But, of course, the post says I am in town trying to get Jessica to be the replacement for paula abdul.... Do the lies ever stop???? (sic)"
