FOX 'Idol' sees Victoria Beckham to guest judge

Los Angeles - Victoria Beckham is to be a guest judge on American Idol, People magazine reported Thursday, a day after TV personality Paula Abdul announced she was leaving the hit series after eight seasons as a judge on the top-ranked US show.

Beckham however will not be a permanent replacement for Abdul, as she said she doesn't wish to divert her attention from her newly launched fashion line.

Aerosmith star injured in stage fall

Los Angeles (dpa) - Aerosmith star Steven Tyler has suffered neck and shoulder injuries after falling off the stage during a concert in South Dakota.

At the time of the incident, the flamboyant frontman, 61, was dancing to entertain the crown after the sound system failed at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, he was airlifted to the hospital but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
