Katie Price is having counselling to deal with her marriage breakdown.

The British glamour model, whose husband Peter Andre walked out on her in May, sought help to cope with the separation when she returned from a wild trip to the party island of Ibiza last month.

A source said: "Katie needed some guidance after she split from Peter. She doesn't really have a close circle of girlfriends to turn to, especially any that weren't friends with Peter as well, so therapy seemed the perfect option.

"Katie still can't accept the marriage is all finished. We all know she is devastated and terrified to admit it."

Katie - also known as Jordan - claims she hasn't cried since her split from Peter because she shed all her tears while they were still together.

Speaking on UK TV show 'Loose Women' she said: "I was always expecting it to end. For two years, me and Pete - we tried, like any marriage, you do try - it was like, 'If you push your luck, I will finish with you.' So I suppose I got to a stage where I was always expecting it. I did all my crying while I was married.

"I'm so happy, whether people believe it or not, I'm in such a happy place. Such a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

"It's very sad - it was a fairytale and I was very much in love, and it ended but you've got to get on."

Meanwhile, Katie - who has two kids with Peter, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, along with seven-year-old Harvey from a previous relationship - is planning to get a huge new piece of body art across her back.

The 31-year-old star, who already has several etchings on her body, said: "I want to get a new tattoo. I want to get one all over my back of hearts and crowns. I was going to get it done in Ibiza but I didn't have the guts."

Katie is also planning to have more Botox injections and add more hair extensions during her business trip to America.

She said: "I'm off to Los Angeles now for meetings with Creative Artists Agency. While I'm there I might also get some hair extensions done. I'm also having some acting lessons, getting my boobs checked and having Botox."
