Some people from the South like to say things like, "the South will rise again," but apparently they're too heavy to hoist themselves off the chaise lounger. Mississippi tops the list of fat states, with Alabama on its heels. Eight of the 10 states with the highest obesity rates are in the South. Alabama has other weighty issues, but these videos, like a photo, are worth a thousand words.
Living in tinderbox Southern California denies me the American God-given right to hurl a cherrybomb. Everything is flammable here, and if you're caught flicking a cigarette out your car window, the police arrest you on the spot and issue you a hefty 1000+ dollar ticket.
