Los Angeles - A surrogate mother in Ohio has delivered twins girls for Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, according to local reports. 'The entire family is overjoyed,' the couple said in a statement at the time. 'I'm thrilled for Sarah, Matthew and James Wilkie,' Sex and the City costar Kim Cattrall said Tuesday after the babies' birth was reported. 'More 'fabulous girls' are joining our SATC family.' ************ Cher joins Christina Aguilera for Burlesque film role Los Angeles (dpa) - Legendary singer Cher is to join Christina Aguilera in the sexy musical Burlesque, Variety reported Tuesday. It will represent the first film role in over a decade for Cher, and her first ever singing role. Aguilera, 28, will play a small-town girl from Iowa who moves to Los Angeles and lands work at an erotic club run by Cher, 63. Cher won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her role in the 1987 film Moonstruck, and Burlesque producer Clint Culpepper said he has been lobbying Cher for years to return to films. 'She brings a soulfulness and gravitas to this character that will ground the story,' Culpepper said. 'The only person who was more excited than I am is Christina.' *************** Farrah Fawcett in hospital Los Angeles (dpa) - A day after long term companion Ryan O'Neal said they planned to marry, Hollywood legend Farrah Fawcett was back in a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday battling cancer. The Los Angeles Times reported that the 62-year-old actress will be in hospital for at least two weeks. 'She is being treated for her condition,' according to Farrah's publicist Arnold Robinson. O'Neal is by her side during the latest battle in her fight against the cancer, the report said. 'She fighting for her life,' O'Neal said Monday. 'I've asked her to marry me, again, and she's agreed. We will, as soon as she can say yes.' ************ McConaughey and girlfriend expect second child Los Angeles (dpa) - US actor Matthew McConaughey is expecting a second child with girlfriend Camilla Alves, he announced Tuesday on his website. 'We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camilla and I are expecting our second child,' said McConaughey, 39, who became a father for the first time last July when their son Levi was born. 'The last 11 months with Levi and Camilla have been the most rewarding adventure to date,' he said. 'Levi is going to be a big brother. The future looks bright as the family grows and we thank you for all the well wishes you send our way.'
