Robert Pattinson's muscles are drawn on.
The 'Twilight' star has attracted legions of fans with his toned physique but movie insiders are now claiming it was achieved by make-up and clever lighting.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Robert had a team of make-up artists working on his stomach to make it appear as if he had a six-pack.
"They used all their tricks - including liquid body paint, shading and airbrushing - to make his torso look toned. Whenever they stopped filming, Robert would duck back inside to get touched up by the make-up team.
"The lighting team helped as well, creating the perfect way to accentuate the shading and highlights."
The 23-year-old British star - who recently featured in People magazine's list of hottest bachelors - was delighted with the crew's efforts because he hates working out.
The source added: "Rob is definitely not that in shape. He hates the gym and will never be a muscle man."

You know they cant accentuate a sixpack if he was not already slim. Under all that make up he has some but not that oviously developed. An who cares if he doesnt go to the gym i don think a majority -i didnt say so one exercises of people do exercise. He can do whatever he wants cause he doesnt have to worry about money and what anyone thinks. You can see he has a very caring personality. So let that be and find something else to write about.
He did work out a bit.You can tell from his shoulders and biceps. He doesn't have to be muscular, ugh! So who really cares? He is perfect as he is!
Ok, he has no toned abs. Oh well guess that makes him a dud...yeah right! Like it matters to anyone. He is sexy and that comes from within. When are people gonna get it. You can be sexy at any age or shape. Repeat after me it comes from within....if his untoned abs offend you,get to the back of the long line sista.

Oh goody, I am the first to comment. Enough about Robs abs already. I don't want to hear about his fake abs anymore. It's old news. So what if they are. Yes, they used makeup on him to make him look better on camera and every movie star does when making movies. They did use alot of white makeup on his chest and stomach area because every time he and Kristen hugged, I bet it wiped off. Also, I agree with the author, he will never be a muscle man, but you could tell he worked out really hard to get what he did have, which was significant. I like Rob just the way he is. Six pack or not. Rob, you look great to me.
