Katie Price has gone on an alcohol-fuelled girls' holiday.

The British glamour (topless) model - who recently split from husband Peter Andre - left the UK for the Spanish island of Ibiza with eight friends yesterday (16.06.09).

Seemingly intent on embracing her new single status, Katie, 31, told friends: "Yee haa, I'm going to have some fun at last. It's been a f***ing nightmare but I'm going to have a wicked time.

"I haven't had a full week's holiday for 10 years. I am well up for it."

The party reportedly started drinking at 6am after they boarded a jet at London's Gatwick airport, making their way through four £15 bottles of champagne. They are then said to have started drinking jugs of sangria as soon as they got to their hotel.

A source close to Katie told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She's had an emotionally tiring five weeks and wants to let her hair down.

"If she wants to go out every night and get hammered, then why shouldn't she? After all, she's a single lady now."

Katie - also known as Jordan - is being filmed on her trip by a camera crew from ITV for her new reality show.

The brunette beauty was getting into the party spirit on the plane, at one point she is said to have pulled out her camera phone and laughed loudly as she showed her friends pictures of naked men. She also joked that she was pregnant.

However, her buoyant mood apparently did not extend to her fans as she refused to sign autographs or pose for photos.

Katie has left her children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and 23-month-old Princess Tiaamii in the care of 36-year-old Peter.

The singer - who is not Harvey's father - has taken them on a 10-day trip to Cyprus.
