The Hollywood beauty - who was criticised last week when photographs emerged of her posing in front of buildings covered in giant images of the killer fish - has escaped charges of vandalism because property owners have accepted her apology.
Police Sergeant Gary Knight said: "The decision has been made to close the case. The case will not be presented to the district attorney's office."
Photographs of 28-year-old Jessica - who was reportedly smiling and holding a pot of glue by the vandalised billboard, bridge and electricity boxes - were spotted on website TheLostOgle.com and the White Mike blog.
The three-foot long posters are believed to have been distributed by White Mike, a group who aim to raise awareness about the conservation and protection of great white sharks.
Last week, Jessica apologised for becoming involved in the incident and called her behaviour "spontaneous and ill-advised".
A statement made by the 'Sin City' actress read: "I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realise that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign.
"I sincerely apologise to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."
