Katie Price and Peter Andre had a blazing row over childcare arrangements yesterday (07.06.09).

The former glamour model was left fuming after her estranged husband dropped the three children they raise together at her house earlier than expected.

Katie was forced to cancel her afternoon's plans when Peter arrived with Junior, three, 23-month-old daughter Princess Tiaamii and Harvey, seven - Katie's son from a previous relationship - at her Surrey home at 1pm.

Peter, 36, insisted he had done nothing wrong and was merely adhering to the custody arrangements drawn up by their lawyers.

Katie furiously accused Peter of backtracking on an agreement they had made, but the 'Mysterious Girl' singer claimed he had always planned to return their kids in the afternoon because he was due to rehearse tracks from his new album.

The 31-year-old beauty - also known as Jordan - held a last-minute barbecue for her children after cancelling an appearance at the Capital FM Summertime Ball in London.

Meanwhile, Katie has denied reports she is "going off the rails", taking sleeping pills, not eating and drinking too much.

A source said: "Katie is tired of suggestions she either doesn't look after the children enough or that she won't let Pete see them as much as is fair.

"She dropped everything when Pete called her and changed the arrangements.

"What's odd is that Peter had been moaning he didn't see the kids enough, then when he gets the chance he hands them back to Katie."

Peter has voiced his own concerns over Katie's health, but is still ignoring her "constant" phone calls.

A friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "All her desperate phone calls are really heartbreaking but he's determined to stay strong. Deep down he knows that it's not right to get back together, no matter how much it's hurting Katie. In the long term, it's better for both of them."
