Katie Price in 'meltdown'

Katie Price is in "complete meltdown".

The former glamour model - who split from her husband of three-and-a-half years Peter Andre last month - is struggling to cope with the end of her marriage and has worried friends with her increasingly erratic behaviour.

A source said: "Katie's gone into a complete meltdown this week. All of a sudden this became a reality.

"She's hit rock bottom. She doesn't know what to do with herself. Her behaviour is all over the place. She's been sobbing and attacking anyone she can."

Katie, 31, is said to be convinced Peter, 36, will try to win a chunk of her estimated £40 million fortune during their divorce and is upset with his refusal to speak to her over the phone.

Another source explained: "She's more ambitious than ever. She thinks that in two years he'll have no career and she'll be the one everyone is talking about again."

It has also been claimed Katie - also known as Jordan - has virtually stopped eating, choosing to pick at biscuits rather than proper meals.

The model - who has son Junior, three, and 23-month-old daughter Princess Tiaamii with Peter and son Harvey, seven, from a previous relationship - is struggling to sleep properly, and has reportedly turned to alcohol as a way to blot out her personal problems.

A friend told Britain's New of the World newspaper: "Her friends are worried she's drinking too much. Katie wants to go to Ibiza in July. She plans to go crazy and let her hair down."

Katie is also said to be planning an image overhaul, which could see the return of her brash alter-ego Jordan.

The model is keen to follow in the footsteps of singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham by moving into the world of fashion, and has asked her management team to start planning how best to go about it.

A person involved said: "Jordan's going to be introducing a much more bizarre slant to her style and look. What she is certain about is that this is very far from being the end of Jordan.

"Katie Price is gone for a while and Jordan is about to come back in the most exciting way possible."
