Actor David Carradine has died. Mr. Carradine was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room Wednesday, his manager confirmed via statement to FOX News on Thursday, June 4. According to Chuck Binder, Mr. Carradine, 72, was filming in Bangkok and his film crew went looking for him when he failed to show for dinner. A statement on behalf of his family has yet to be released, but Binder called the death "shocking and sad." Binder says the cause of death is "under investigation." The Nation newspaper reported that Thai police said the actor allegedly was found hanged in his hotel room from curtain rope in an apparent suicide. Mr. Carradine, star of the iconic American 1970s TV series, "Kung Fu," as Shaolin priest Kwai Chang Caine, also had a formidable career in film. The Nation reports that the hotel maid discovered Mr. Carradine's body in a closet Thursday morning and that there were no signs of a struggle or assault. Mr. Carradine is the son of actor John Carradine.
