Sean Penn ends legal separation to wife Robin

On again, off again, on again, so goes the marital status of actor Sean Penn, who has dismissed the recent papers he filed for “legal separation with minor children” from wife Robin Wright Penn, according to a court record. EPA/PAUL BUCKThe original papers were filed on Friday, April 24th, 2009 and the dismissal was filed yesterday, May 19th, 2009.Prior to this separation, both Penn and Wright have filed for divorced Extra reports that Penn and Wright were married April 27, 1996, and have two children.The couple filed for separation in December 2007 but reconciled in April 2008. In February, the couple attended the Academy Awards together, where Penn took the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Milk.
