Amy Winehouse is to buy a £3.2million mansion in St Lucia.
The troubled singer - who is living on the Caribbean island while she writes new material - wants to make her stay permanent by splashing out on a luxurious home.
The 'Rehab' singer is interested in a 2.5-acre beachside estate called Shingle Cove, which has six bedrooms, six bathrooms a swimming pool, security guards and is staffed 24-hours a day.
Amy, 25, has been renting a similar property over the past few months as she overcomes her problems with drugs, alcohol and the breakdown of her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil.
She said recently: "I'm in the best place I've been for ages. I'm getting lots of exercise and have been able to relax."
However, Amy was rushed to hospital last Friday (15.05.09) after a heavy night of partying.
Friends of the star are concerned her deteriorating health might jeopardise her scheduled UK show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire next Sunday (31.05.09).
A source said: "Amy's concert might as well be cancelled now. She's not going to make it. It's not worth her while even if she does make it, it will be a shambles. She is not ready for it."
