Farrah Fawcett sobbed as she watched her documentary on Friday (15.05.09).
The 'Charlie's Angels' star - who is battling anal cancer - found it difficult to see herself looking so ill in TV show 'Farrah's Story'.
Her friend Alana Stewart said: "She cried a few times. It was very emotional for her and I think it's because it's been a very, very long journey and going back through it was probably a bit painful.
"When it was over, I said, 'OK, so did you like it?' And she said, 'I liked it very, very, very, very, very much.' Those were her exact words."
Farrah was almost unconscious when the programme came on air, but was completely lucid by the end.
Her long-term partner Ryan O'Neal said: "When we began watching it Friday night, she had a very low pulse. But, as the show went on, it kept going up and up and up. It was wonderful.
"We have to now show her one of her films every night."
Almost nine million people tuned in to watch the two-hour special that documented the 62-year-old star's fight against the illness.
Farrah is said to have shed more tears when she found out how many viewers tuned in and is thrilled a sequel has been commissioned.
Ryan said: "We haven't stopped filming, and we're going to make a second instalment on her life eventually."

I am in complete awe of Farah's bravery in all she has endured during her battle against cancer. I don't think the world has ever seen such courage, strength, love, or such a beautiful spirit in one human being as was witnessed in what was filmed for her documentary. I am a 45 year old mother going through some ongoing medical issues that has also been causing serious depression. I am ashamed in the face of what I witnessed Farah endure, and the positive attitude she has held on to through it all. I recorded the show and have watched it every couple of days for inspiration. No one deserves a miracle or a chance to stay with her friends and family than Farah, and I pray every day that she is given that miracle. God Bless to Farah, her family, and all of her friends and loved ones. Deana
